We were asked to design and build 8 animal puppets for Apple's global Holiday Commercial.

A Critter Carol features a group of forest animal puppets, who use the iPhone 17 Pro to shoot their own music video about friendship.

Our team of artists meticulously handcrafted 8 puppets for the film. The characters were hand sculpted from foam and then fabricated in high quality synthetic furs and fibres. The noses and bottom lips were custom cast in latex and painted to effect. We intentionally wanted the puppets to have imperfections and a little asymmetry to lean into the handcrafted vibe.

The final film was shot entirely on the iPhone 17 Pro and released on Thanksgiving. Apple's holiday commercial was rolled out globally across broadcast TV, digital platforms and social media. In the US, the spot first aired on NBC's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade coverage. The film was widely praised by industry professionals and well recieved by the public - a huge success for everyone involved.
